A Malaysian, aged 73, Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain was appointed an Executive Director of MTD Capital Bhd on 16 November 1993. Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain is one of the founders and the driving force behind the Company. Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain is the Chairman of the Management Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain holds a Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the University of Singapore. He served in the Malaysian civil service as Deputy Minister of Works and Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Posts from 1976 to 1984 before venturing into the corporate sector. Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain is the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad, and also held directorships in other public companies namely, MTD InfraPerdana Bhd and Metacorp Berhad, both are subsidiaries of MTD Capital Bhd. A Malaysian, aged 49, Dato’ Azmil was appointed an Executive Director of MTD Capital Bhd on 1 July 1996. Dato’ Azmil is a member of the Management Committee.
Dato’ Azmil graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and subsequently with a Masters in Business Administration. He began his career with a United Kingdom company, Tarmac National Construction and upon his return to Malaysia worked for Trust International Insurance and Citibank NA.
Dato’ Azmil joined MTD Group in 1993 as General Manager, Corporate Planning. In 1996, Dato’ Azmil assumed the helm as Group Managing Director of MTD Capital Bhd and was redesignated as President & Chief Executive Officer on 1 June 2009. In his capacity as President & Chief Executive Officer of MTD Capital Bhd, he concurrently holds the same position in MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad and is the Chairman of foreign subsidiaries of MTD Capital Bhd namely, MTD Walkers PLC, a company listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange in the Republic of Sri Lanka and South Luzon Tollway Corporation, Philippines. Dato’ Azmil held directorships in other public companies namely, MTD InfraPerdana Bhd and Metacorp Berhad, both are subsidiaries of MTD Capital Bhd. Apart from MTD Group, Dato’ Azmil is the Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director of Daya Materials Berhad. Dato’ Azmil is a director of Touch ’n Go Sdn Bhd, the electronic toll collection operator, and Environment Idaman Sdn Bhd, a solid waste concession company; and a Trustee of the Perdana Leadership Foundation. Dato’ Azmil also sits on the board of several private limited companies. |

A Malaysian, aged 56, Encik Mohd Pauzi was appointed an Executive Director of MTD Capital Bhd on 16 November 1993 and was redesignated as Non-Executive Director on 1 January 2004. He is a member of the Audit Committee and Nomination Committee.
Encik Mohd Pauzi is a registered Quantity Surveyor and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Surveyors, Malaysia. He served in the Public Works Department from 1976 to 1984, with his last position being Senior Quantity Surveyor. He served MTD Capital Bhd Group from 1984 to 2003, where he held various positions with the last being as an Executive Director. He also sits on the board of several private limited companies. |

A Malaysian, aged 56, Haji Shaik Mohamed was appointed to the Board of MTD Capital Bhd on 13 November 2008. He is the Chairman of Remuneration Committee.
Haji Shaik Mohamed is a graduate with honours in Law from University of Malaya and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor for the High Court in Malaya in 1978. He has a wide experience in conveyancing (land and property), corporate work, banking and finance work especially in relation to investment banks. He had served as a Legal Advisor in Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad (now known as CIMB Bank Berhad), Kuala Lumpur from 1977 to 1980, after which he became the Legal Advisor/Company Secretary of Pacific Bank Berhad. In 1982, he joined Messrs Kadir, Tan & Ramli as partner until 1987. He then became a partner in Messrs Wan Marican Hamzah & Shaik. In 1992, he set up his own legal firm, Messrs Shaik Mohamed & Co. A Malaysian, aged 49, Encik Nik Faizul was appointed to the Board of MTD Capital Bhd on 28 January 1994. He is a member of the Nomination Committee.
Encik Nik Faizul graduated with a Diploma in Accountancy from UiTM and a Bachelor of Science (Accounting) from Indiana State University in 1981 and 1984 respectively. He started his career in Kenneison Brothers Construction Sdn Bhd before joining Janas Sdn Bhd, a company dealing in oil and gas, as an Accountant and Administration Manager in 1990. He also sits on the board of several private limited companies. |

A Malaysian, aged 61, Haji Nik Din was appointed to the Board of MTD Capital Bhd on 30 April 2008. He is a member of the Audit Committee.
Haji Nik Din is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), CA(M). He has extensive experience in accounting, auditing and finance. He served in Sime Darby Group from 1992 to 2004, where he held positions as Group Chief Internal Audit Manager and Finance Director.
He also worked for Promet Berhad from 1982 to 1992 as Financial Controller and later as Finance Director. He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad and Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange and a director of several private limited companies. Formerly, he was the Independent Non-Executive Director of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd and Metacorp Berhad, both are subsidiaries of MTD Capital Bhd. |
